As a board member at RB, I contribute to strategic decision-making and governance within the company. RB is a driving force in financial innovation and technology in Iceland, providing essential services to banks and financial institutions.

Syn is a publicly traded company in Iceland with approximately 450 employees that owns multiple brands in Telecommunications, IoT service, IT services and Media industry. The Chief Operating Officer role was established in early 2023 to lead a companywide technical transformation to streamline the operations, lower cost and eliminate technical debt resulting from mergers and acquisitions in the past. • Led an 80-member team across various functions, including Product Management, New Business Development, Program and Project management office, Software development, IT Operations, Data Reporting, Technical Support (TV, Radio), People & Culture (HR) and Facilities. • My team led a successful acquisition of one of the most visited websites in Iceland (www.ja.is), strategic agreements with media providers (co-operation and license agreement with Viaplay), and the launch of new telecommunication and media solutions for both B2C and B2B markets. Examples of those projects were voice over Wi-Fi, eSIM, 10x speed internet, One number of multiple devices and Salesforce solutions for service and sales.• We transformed product development and project processes, ensuring focus and prioritization on value-driven initiatives. Implemented a cross-functional project process to ensure focus, the right prioritization and faster delivery of key projects.• We streamlined the IT organization, eliminating bottlenecks and accelerated the delivery of critical technical solutions. Implemented flexible software delivery teams we scaled with foreign contractors and used agile methodology to ensure focus and increased speed of software delivery. • Participated in a cross-functional sustainability management committee and program that focused on improving ESG processes and implementing related regulatory requirements.

Ossur now Embla Medical, is a leading global provider of prosthetics and bracing and supports solutions. Publicly traded in the Danish stock exchange and with approximately 4000 employees in over 30 locations. The VP of Global Quality & Regulatory role was established in 2014 when Ossur decided to transform their Quality Management System after a period of growth through acquisitions and preparation for the changing regulatory landscape for medical devices with the introduction of the medical device regulation (MDR) in Europe and other changes in other countries globally. • Led a global team of 40-50 QA/RA professionals and inspectors across Iceland, The Netherlands, USA (New Jersey and California), Mexico and Poland.• Owner of the global Quality Management System (QMS) certified to ISO13485 and MDSAP. My team managed communication with health authorities and certification bodies worldwide, ensuring compliance with medical device regulations in over 120 countries. • Led a comprehensive transformation of Ossur’s quality management system, adapting to acquisitions and regulatory changes.• Responsible for the global Environmental and Safety management systems (ISO14001 certified). Established in co-operation with other key leaders within Ossur a cross-functional sustainability program within Ossur that achieved carbon neutrality in 2021 establishing the foundation for carbon emission targets being validated by the Science Based Target Initiative. The program also started the journey of transforming Ossur products towards more sustainable materials along with mapping the carbon footprint of products.

• Led global process improvement initiatives, focusing on operations and product-related areas (warehouse and distribution, global planning, customer feedback, order entry and product portfolio rationalization).• Implemented new ways of working and software solutions to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.• Successfully completed large-scale projects using methodologies such as Six Sigma, lean, and BPM.• The global process excellence program within Ossur was Recognized with the Gartner EMEA Business Process Management Excellence Award in 2014.

As a board member, I contributed to creating a positive environment that encourages growth and helps biotech companies in Iceland to connect with other global and local companies. The board also advised the Icelandic government on policies and regulations, for example how to localize the Medical device regulation (MDR) and how to further support companies to move foreign experts/employees to Iceland.

Landsbankinn is one of the largest banks in Iceland offering financial services to individuals and companies.• Responsible for implementing enterprise-wide, cross-asset financial technology solutions in Iceland, London and Paris and led a project team of 20-30 international contractors.• After the collapse of the banks in Iceland in 2008 the focus shifted to management coaching, hosting process improvement workshops, implementing agile and lean methodologies and implementation of various local digital solutions to streamline the operations.
