A 10-week immersive course on user experience design. Individual and collaborative projects included the following:Unity Technologies // 3-week project- My team and I worked with a real-life client at Unity Technologies, where we helped them to further understand their users. Our exhaustive research resulted in beautiful, high-res, poster-size user personas to be hung in Unity's San Francisco offices.- Techniques employed: User research, surveys, data synthesis, user interviews, and visual design.Fermata // 2-week project- Took the research and insights my team and I received for our Guitar Center project and created a B&W prototype of a service that catered specifically to a musician's desire to "expand their musical horizon," offering one-off lessons with other collaborators.- Techniques employed: Wireframes, interaction design, usability testing.Guitar Center // 2-week project- With a team, designed a journey-based prototype of a mobile platform to aid musicians in streamlining their vetting process, helping them choose between collaborators with far more confidence than ever before.- Techniques employed: User research, surveys, contextual inquiries, wireframes, and data visualization.the TROVE // 2-week project- Designed an interactive ecommerce prototype for a small local toy store.- Techniques employed: card sorting, competitive/comparative analysis, user flows (based on supplied personas), paper prototyping, and wireframing. roze // 1-week project- Designed a mock-up for a robust notification app to keep track of your plant(s). On top of calendar and email integration, the app included a plant library, a plant organizer, and a store/supply locator.- Techniques employed: User interviews, competitive/comparative analysis, storyboarding, wireframing, and a bit of paper prototyping.
