As a leadership coach, keynote speaker, and essayist, I am driven by the belief that leadership is a promise; fundamentally, it’s a promise to care for our people, our work, and ourselves. From serving as an Army officer and chaplain to a two-decade career as a pastor to now coaching business leaders and professionals, I have learned how a unique blend of curiosity, creativity, and courage translates into the kind of care that drives growth – in every facet of life.As a coach, I bring compassion, wisdom, and accessibility to guide leaders at all levels and professions back to themselves, away from disconnection, and towards their purpose. Frequently, I work with mid-career professionals who’ve known success but sense there must be something more to their work, impact, and direction.As a keynote speaker, I help leaders drive employee engagement, retention, and resilience by inviting them to remember the fundamental promise of leadership – to care for their people, themselves included. I blend a gift for inspired storytelling with data-driven insights to provide audiences with practical, relevant tools for honoring that promise. More, the memorable experience I co-create with the audience allows them to remember and harness those tools long beyond the event itself.
