Researched under the domain of big data analytics and data management, particularly my research was on the topics of visual data explorations and visualization recommendation. The work primarily focused on recommendation of visualization to get insights into complex datasets. - worked with 𝘑𝘢𝘷𝘢 and 𝘗𝘺𝘵𝘩𝘰𝘯 as programming tool, while using 𝘗𝘰𝘴𝘵𝘨𝘳𝘦𝘚𝘘𝘓 as back-end.- It involved number of techniques like 𝐝𝐚𝐭𝐚 𝐞𝐱𝐭𝐫𝐚𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧, 𝐝𝐚𝐭𝐚 𝐜𝐥𝐞𝐚𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠, 𝐪𝐮𝐞𝐫𝐲 𝐨𝐩𝐭𝐢𝐦𝐢𝐳𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧, 𝐦𝐚𝐜𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐞 𝐥𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠, 𝐝𝐞𝐬𝐜𝐫𝐢𝐩𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐞 𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐜𝐬, 𝐡𝐲𝐩𝐨𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐬𝐢𝐬 𝐭𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠.- Performed thorough effectiveness-based analysis of a flight delay dataset having more than 5M records and a diabetes patient dataset having 100K records.- Published three research papers in peer reviewed conferences and made seven presentations on various research forums.

Other key achievement included:- Lead the student advisory team for 10 years for managing student progression.- Contributed in the curriculum development and course accreditation with the Higher Education Commission (Pakistan).- Served as an active member of on campus management teams such as admissions committee, exam vetting committee, student management system and projects evaluation committee.- Conducted well-designed series of training sessions and specialist workshops on Introduction to Programming, Teradata, C++ programming and SQL. - Founding member and researcher at Wireless Networking and Security (WiNgS) research group. My research work on analysis of routing attacks in MANETs has been published in top conference and highly cited. The work involved implementation of attacks in ns-2 simulator on linux OS and detection of attacks using machine learning techniques in weka. Particularly, used decision trees, random forests, regression models, and SVM.- Supervised the design and development of ARMS (Academic Record Management System) in Oracle. Later provided support for its maintenance and on demand reporting. Extensively wrote complex SQL queries to generate the on-demand reports.- Consultant for the Information Technology Lab Management team at NUCES. - Design and conducted practical network programming exercises (e.g. Implementation of internal information sharing application using existing business network infrastructure) to simulate real world business network problems for future and existing systems engineers.- Result processing and database support during the admissions for the year 2000- 2002.
