I make and serves beverages such as coffee, tea, ice blended, smoothies and specialty beverages. I am also responsible to take customers’ orders and payments. Moreover, I also clean and sanitize the work areas, seating areas and the equipment/tools. There were some skills that I gained from working here which are technical knowledge of coffee and other coffee shop products, customer services as well as communication skills.

Png.jepg is basically a thrift store in Nilai, Negeri Sembilan. Throughout my working experience there, I’ve learned to demonstrate and explains merchandise, selecting and suggesting optiona suitable for the customers needs. Moreover, I also answers customer’s questions about merchandise and assist customers with purchase decisions. In addition, I also retrieve merchandise from stock room. As a retail worker, I also did Instagram & Tiktok live to boost up their sales and I’ve boost up their sales up to almost 80% from their targeted daily sales.

I clean and sanitize dishes, cookware, and utensils. Other than that, I also clean and sanitize food preparation work station. I too provide assistance with the preparation of food (read: croffles, dipping sauce, croissant). Some other days, I had to be a cashier where I need to greet, serve, and answer their (read: customers’) questions about menu items and specials. Moreover, as a kitchen crew, we were also trained to maintain an organized record of order to other crew can refer.

I worked at Kumon, Nilai and my position back then was as English teacher. I supposed to ensure that the students get to learn proper grammar, writing and reading and listening as well. I also needed to make sure that they completed their homework. Other than that, I sometimes get to teach Maths for secondary school students and KUMON have their own method in teaching their students to understand Maths better. I also did pack the students homework for them to bring it home. I’ve accomplished so many experience and one of them is, for me, personally to learn how to be very patient when it comes to teaching. Other than that, I also get to improved my social skills between me and the workers. Overall, every workplace has their own experience and that’s what makes it unique.
