Street lights have been converted to LED, we collect methane at our landfill and recently expanded our recycling program. Living on the Red RiverFargo is situated along the Red River which borders the state of Minnesota. The river provides a scenic view and miles of recreational areas including parks, fishing, walking/biking paths and camping. We are working to live harmoniously with the river by building landscaped dikes and flood walls. Fargo and Moorhead are currently proposing a diversion that would help protect the metro and surrounding communities.
