Managing a small mushroom farm in Nashville TN.

Designing and implementing Stony Creek Farm's urban garden and food forest with particular emphasis on specialty and value added crops and products, including mushrooms, honey, and agritourism. Co-managing Stony Creek Colors indigo research with Stony Creek Colors CEO Sarah Bellos.

Facilitate Garden Advisory Committee meetings with school faculty, staff, and community leaders in the Glencliff cluster. Implement and design garden curriculum into classrooms, after school clubs and programs such as Nashville After Zone Alliance (NAZA). Participate in monthly meetings with the School Garden Coalition. Design and expand existing gardens with outdoor classrooms, perennials, and composting programs.

Developed gardening plans for 20 person CSA in 2008 and 2009, coordinated volunteer sessions with community organizations, schools (lower and upper division) as well as the weekly goals for regular volunteers, maintain website and Google Groups updates.

Developed and implemented garden designs and programs for Croft Middle, Overton High School, and Wright Middle. This encompassed garnering school and community support by coordinating volunteer sessions, meeting bi-weekly with community leaders, teachers, and staff, and seeing to the day-to-day upkeep of the garden.
