Security officer

• To support the regional manager and support office team, to ensure all Health and Safety policies and recruitment policies are adhered to, training new staff members in policies and procedures/ interview staff, deal with staff issues and pass on to the regional manager if necessary. To visit pharmacies and offer assistance and support on behalf of the regional manager. To carry out audits and help achieve KPI’s.

• To be able to deal with correspondence, updating and maintaining records held on the CPS computer system, filing and retrieval of paperwork, and dealing with telephone enquiries. Preparing papers for court and also reception work. Liasing with external customers such as police, forensic scientist, victim support, witness care, witnesses and defence solicitors. Assisting with staff training, post handling, writing correspondence all in line with the standard operating procedures, as well as being up to date with E-learning and compliance.

• Responsible for training of new staff members, ensuring that delegated tasks are done accurately and on-time, open and close branch, control drugs key responsibility, money handling, prescription handling and dispensing, first aid duties, designated fire marshal, general responsibilities of a manager.
