• Ph.D. in Pharmacology from the University of Karachi Pakistan in 2016.• 12 plus years of academic work experience as “Assistant Professor” in Faculty of Pharmacy Jinnah University for Women Karachi Pakistan.• Promoted to “Associate Professor” in August 2019.• There are 24 Research Papers already published in the local and International Journals.• Having 6 years of work experience in Hospital Pharmacy both in-patient & out-Patient.• Conducting theory & lab courses of Clinical Pharmacy, Clinical Pharmacology, Physiology, Biochemistry, and Pathology.• Conducting Clinical Pharmacy lab for Pharm-D students.• Conducting advanced courses of pharmacology, toxicology and therapeutics to M.phil students, preparing them to work in a clinical setting since 2014. • Research Guidance is being provided by me as a Co- Supervisor /Supervisor to the Student Enrolled in M.Phil. Pharmacology since 2014. • My areas of research interest include:o Pharmacology and Toxicology of drugs, herbs and natural products.o Pharmacology and toxicology of antidiabetics in the animal models of diabetes.o Interested in exploring therapeutic potential and scientific scrutiny of the claimed effects of herbs, folk remedies and home therapies in an animal disease model of neurobehavioral and neurodegenerative diseases, metabolic syndrome etc.• My administrative experience includes:o As a Chairperson, Department of Pharmacology, JUW since 2018.o Worked as an Incharge Pharmacy (Morning Program) in the Faculty of Pharmacy, JUW from 2011-2012.• Curriculum Planningo Contributed in developing a core curriculum for M.Phil and Ph.D. program and providing instructional support which is both futuristic in nature and conforms to international standards.• Organizer of Board of Studies meetingo Organized meeting of Board of Studies in the Department of Pharmacology in 2017, 2018 and 2019, presided by the Dean Faculty of Pharmacy.
