Started as a developer, in the last 10+ years, I have worked my way up to PM, then CTO of blockchain company to learn that: Deep inside I am a passionate programmer! There are 2 things a programmer loves to do: creating & learningCreating things:Whatever that thing is, I would gather the best guys to make the best “thing”. So, I realize: to be a great programmer one must learn how to work with people, not only with computers. Funny enough, the job title for that role is barely “Programmer”!Learning things:I overheard a conversation between 2 wise guys years ago:-”An investment in knowledge pays the best interest- But technology knowledge & experience are expiring assets.”Like a movie ticket or a warehouse full of bananas! Their values diminish over time. Ever since I adopted a strategy to manage a knowledge portfolio that requires constantly learning & teaching to keep myself not “expiring” like those bananas!
