- Created the Loominus data science platform from the ground up using proven technology stack that includes Python, Flask, Apache Spark, Apache Parquet, Pandas, Dask, just to name a few.- Architected entire solution to run on AWS using containerized and cloud native services including Docker, AWS EC2 Container Service, AWS CloudFormation, AWS DynamoDB, AWS Kinesis, AWS Lambda, AWS API Gateway. - Built the entire CI/CD pipeline on AWS using CodeDeploy and CodeBuild services for push button multi-environment deployment of the platform which was entirely described as multiple CloudFormation stack definitions using the YAML syntax.- Built Web UI using VueJS and Vuetify, Plotly for data visualizations, and WebSocket for realtime communication between client and server.- Worked in many roles including Technical Lead and Architect to design and implement various aspects of the system and coordinated development with globally distributed team using JIRA and Confluence project management tools.- Conducted many customer and investor demos that included communicating technical aspects and features of the platform to less technical audiences across the globe.- Guest lecturer for the Lambda School Data Science course.

I engineered processes to ingest customer digital marketing data on a daily schedule. I built tooling to enable business analysts to visualize the data and mathematicians to build statistical models.

I was a member of the Platform Services team developing contract-first web services. Soon thereafter, I was recruited to join the Forward Engineering team where I was required to quickly implement proof of concept of product ideas and take them to pilots in production. Next I worked on a project where I utilized the Hadoop ecosystem to build data pipelines that enabled production predictive analytics dashboards and data science initiatives for the University of Phoenix. I also implemented visualizations on top of the predictive data to give academic counselors insights to struggling students.

I was the lead developer of the web security module, a forms authentication middleware, for the University of Phoenix’s student website, eCampus. I also worked on web services and self-service tools for students and faculty to reset their eCampus passwords via a time-sensitive encrypted link sent to their email address.

I started as a software test engineer, writing code to find bugs in C++ libraries and stress test databases. I went on to write installs for Timberline Software’s product suite, and later joined the Core Components team, which was responsible for maintaining the code that was the foundation of the company’s accounting and real estate applications.
