Hello, I'm Hung Vy Vu, a passionate educator with a background in history and a strong commitment to nurturing academic excellence.My time at UCLA was enriched by various educational experiences that deepened my understanding of the power of education and community engagement. One such experience was my volunteer work with Learn To Be, a non-profit organization focused on online tutoring for underserved students. This opportunity allowed me to connect with students from diverse backgrounds and assist them in overcoming educational challenges. It was a humbling experience that reinforced my belief in the transformative potential of education.In addition to my work with Learn To Be, I also contributed my skills and knowledge to the UCLA Vietnamese group, where I served as a tutor for students studying the Vietnamese language and culture. This experience allowed me to share my cultural heritage and gain valuable insights into the dynamics of language and cross-cultural understanding.Today, I'm proud to be part of the Tutor Me Education team, where I serve as a K-12 Math and ELA tutor.
