As an agile web development team, we are;• Developing major websites of Digiturk mainly focused on OTT.• Developing cloud-based services to support our websites, mobile applications, and set-top boxes.These are my responsibilities in the team:• Supervise and improve software development processes conducted by the Web Application Development Team.• Provide technical consultancy to software developers, review code and make sure developed code complies with security standards, performance criteria, and business objectives.• Constantly improve products and workflows. Invent new technical and business approaches with a focus on customer needs.• Provide technical analysis for cost projection of work items requested by stakeholders.• Specify performance criteria for software development and personal improvement. Set, follow, and report goals based on these criteria.• Guide team members about software development methods and architectural approaches.• Follow industry best practices and trends, look for new ideas and opportunities. Enable the spread of information within the team and internal contacts.• Enable team members to achieve speed and efficiency to reach development goals within the projected time frame, quality needs, and performance.• Improve information flow and communication among team members.• Provide necessary resources to team members for implementing modern software development methods and technologies.• Define, track and report key performance indicators for the team.• Analyze and resolve technical and application problems.• Participate in peer-reviews of solution designs and related code.• Develop, refine, and tune integrations between applications.• Coach team members, help them clarify and reach their personal and professional goals.• Interview and assess future team members about their personal traits and technical skills.

I was responsible for the development and optimization of web sites like ligtv.com.tr which operates under heavy traffic loads.As a software engineer these were my duties:• Execute and contribute software development processes conducted by Web Application Development Team.• Give the best effort to complete software development related tasks with high quality and efficiency within the projected time frame.• Use suitable tools like project management, reporting, source control effectively.• Provide technical consultancy to product owners and software developers, review code and make sure developed code complies security standards, performance criteria, and business objectives.• Evaluate risks and opportunities related to the projects for which they are responsible and take necessary actions or inform relevant business units.• Provide technical analysis for cost projection of work items requested by stakeholders.

Developed interactive channels and games for Digiturk STBs. 2U was a software vendor of Digiturk. We were developing Interactive Channels, Gaming Portal, Online Gaming Platforms and backend systems for these set top box applications.I developed 2 games and 1 Interactive Channel from scratch and I was maintaining more than 10 applications including 2 banking channels. All these applications were developed with ANSI C using Open TV platform.

ProGEN was the fourth biggest web hosting company in Turkey. We were providing Linux and Windows-based hosting plans, consultancy, and software development services.I developed various websites including online trading applications and contributed daily technical support operations.
