Managed financial/HRIS systems for After Hours Formalwear, a division of Federated Department Stores. Software packages included Lawson ERP, Kronos Time and Attendance, and ReconNet reconciliation software. Responsibilities included hardware/software upgrades, budgeting, and designing processes to run more efficiently.

Comprehensive management of all IT resources: provided department budgets, directed personnel, and managed project time. Integrated new technology for use with both newer systems as well as older legacy systems. Gained vital experience in security development by designing and creating a transparent front-end to our company-wide computer system.

Led the development and support teams for two furniture retail subsidiaries located on the East Coast and Midwest. Held regular meetings with the executive teams to ascertain current status and future needs. Directed technology groups to meet the needs of the separate entities while maintaining a cohesive code base. Required the integration or conversion of separate systems to insure they operated seamlessly together.

Primary responsibilities included application development and network management. Projects included the implementation of a new 100+ node frame-relay communications solution and creating an RF barcode scanning system for warehousing.
