I am a student at Minnetonka High School. As a student, my time is limited, but I still manage to get to work and have a positive impact on my work environment. I play varsity sports, work my part-time job, and maintain a 4.1 GPA at school. Through work, clubs, classes, and sports, I have gained the skills of relationship building, communication, due diligence, time management, teaching, and math. These transfer perfectly into my area of employment, which is tutoring math and science over the summer and during the school year. I have taken an education course as well and have had a few years of experience tutoring elementary and middle school kids. My students have grown under my tutoring, and I have created relationships with the parents and students that make the tutoring more fun than a chore. My passions are hockey, math, physics, and engineering, which means I can critically think and solve problems as well as guide students to the correct thought process it takes to learn and develop. I was taught math and science under a classical curriculum that included Euclidean ideals in geometry through calculus. I aspire to be a teacher or engineer when I am older, but I will always follow my passion for hockey wherever it leads me.
