Hunter is a prospective History and English & Creative Writing major at Emory University. In addition to his studies, he is involved with nonprofit and journalism work throughout Georgia. Serving on the Board of Directors of VOX ATL, he has developed an understanding of nonprofit management and youth leadership. In addition, as a local and national journalist, he has developed a passion for both Georgia and national politics, particularly how education and civil rights legislation impact young people and marginalized communities, an interest he is building on in his current role as a Policy Intern for the ACLU of Georgia. In the future, Hunter hopes to work in journalism, policy, or public interest law.
