Part time worker while in college. I do various jobs that need to be done around the shop and yard for both Ignition Small Engine Repair LLC and Franks Landscaping LLC, such as services and repairs.

Worked for the estimating department of South State. Created budgets based on the construction plans and assisted with the creation of various bids on multiple jobs. Also worked alongside project managers and engineers. Created excel workbooks that gave extra information to assist with accurate and profitable bid numbers. Learned to work as a team and quickly adapt to different projects.

I began working for Frank's Landscaping part time when I began attending college. I previously worked for Frank's Landscaping when I was in early high school, but began working more on the maintenance side of the business rather than landscaping.

While working as a heavy equipment technician, I gained a much higher level on mechanical knowledge. I was able to adapt to the environment quickly, excelling in repairs and quickly learning my way around different machines. It did not take long to be put on my own projects, which forces me to learn even faster. This job taught me responsibility, high levels, of problem solving, working under time constraints, and how to work well in a team.

As soon as I turned 17 and could drive, I began to do landscaping jobs for others. I started with a truck and some tools and over the summer ended with over $3,000 of equipment including a trailer, lawnmower, and many other tools. I was even able to turn a profit in my first year of business. Owning a business taught me a high level of organization, responsibility, and working under high levels of stress. Dealing with customer by discussing jobs, payment, and the occasional unhappy customer taught me customer service and how to keep others happy and control the situation

This was my first job I started at 15 years old. I learned hard work and responsibility at this job. Some days were 12+ hours. I worked hard through the hot and humid New Jersey summers and also worked shoveling snow in the winters.
