Currently a Senior at George Washington University in DC. I have taken a few years of engineering classes but have switched my focus over to business. Currently a member of the Varsity Basketball team here at GW. Ever since I was a kid, I have been on the move. My father, who worked 24 years in the Marine Corps, has instilled several values into me since then. One thing that he always told me whether it was with sports or with anything in life is to always finish something out. I always thought about quitting a sport in high school while I was doing it but he reminded me to stick it out and see what happens. I say that to say this, it has taught me determination and persistence. When I do something, I do it to the fullest. I like to invest myself into what I am doing and take great pride in things I produce.That brings me into my next point. I have always balanced playing several sports while excelling in studies. "Oh my gosh he's one of those people, next!" is what I am assuming you're probably thinking, but, to me, just being able to balance those with school was hard. I had to learn how to manage my life effectively from a young age. I had to conduct myself with a strict schedule in order to figure out how to become a better player in each sport and find time to study.At the end of all this, even if the skills I provide are not needed, rest assured, I will give my all and will have the determination and persistence to get better at whatever it is that is required of me.
