It means that if you aim really high and do not succeed, you are still accomplishing more than a person that had met a smaller, far less lofty goal. This has helped shaped my my academic and professional goals.I am currently interviewing for full time positions for after I graduate in May. During my time here in the Farmer School of Business, I have done multiple group projects that have helped me grow into the business student that I am today. During my first year, I participated in the First Year Integrated Core where this helped me to grow as a student.Additionally, I am involved with the Men's D2 Club Hockey team. We play a 35 game schedule where we will travel to other campuses for a weekend. This has helped me develop time management skills by balancing weekly travel with academics. Also, I have been able to create lasting relationships with my teammates. I am also a member of the business organization, Miami Management and Leadership. This organization has helped me strengthen my leadership skills and developed management techniques for the future.During the summer of 2023, I was a business intern with Outtech, Inc. I was in a rotation program where I got to experience three different sections of the company. I collaborated with overseas manufacturers on factory production, logistics planning, on-time delivery, and product procurement. Additionally, I learned how shipments are received, inventoried, picked, packed, and shipped out to a customer. Finally, I was compiled inventory and sales data to create and present a detailed report. This internship affected me significantly in a positive way because it helped me solidify my choice for a career: Supply Chain Operations and Management.
