Some key projects I worked on during this Co-Op rotation include Blender material door redesign (Autodesk Inventor), a new machine vision part inspection (rslogix 5000, Cognex Insight Explorer), a new barcode inspection using Keyence ID readers (Rslogix 5000, Keyence Autoid software), and a new missing tape sensor (sensor integration/wiring, Rslogix5000.

I mostly worked on the controls side of the manufacturing plant. I built and maintained quality systems that use machine vision to detect part defects. I also did a good amount of sensor integration. I gained a very good grasp on Programmable Logic Controller programming using RS Logix 500 and 5000 by Allen Bradley.
