Currently work as a quality engineer at Porvair Filtration Group:• Conduct inspections and reports, as well as root cause and corrective action investigations.• Manage material review board meetings.• Develop and implement process control/improvement documents. Improvements consist of introducing new equipment into the manufacturing process for improved efficiency and cost effectiveness.• Conduct internal audits of the quality management system against national standards (ISO9001, AS9100, etc.).Previous work experience was for a family-owned business.• Administrative work of processing payroll.• Field work of food merchandising and remodeling at grocery stores utilizing planograms.Other skills are general use of power tools/construction equipment (e.g. bobcat, front-end loader, and backhoe) for building my family cabin. Learned to run electrical wiring, outlets and light fixtures; laid hardwood flooring and bathroom tile.Other interests are automotive performance modifications.• 1969 Camaro: Engine/transmission swap, rack and pinion steering, disc brake, rear end and suspension upgrades.• 1965 Corvette: New fuel tank and power steering upgrade.• 2010 Mustang: Supercharger and full dual exhaust systems, Tremec transmission and suspension upgrades.
