I was born in Melbourne, Florida in March of 1996. I grew up in Cocoa Beach, Florida until I was about 20 years old, at which point I joined the United States Air Force as an explosive ordnance disposal technician. After a few years serving in the military, I decided to return to civilian life in my hometown, and started to pursue local opportunities. I started at low-level jobs in supply chain for Walmart, and gradually worked my way up to more and more impactful positions that really gave me an opportunity to expand my skillset and learn from some great minds. After being in supply chain for a few years, I decided to move on to another job opportunity as a process technician, which is where I'm currently employed. My job is to analyze and improve existing business processes in order to streamline the business and adhere to Lean methodologies. One thing I elected to learn while in this position is Microsoft PowerApps, which is Microsoft's low-code platform design for people who aren't actual developers to develop applications. This was a huge impact in the business and brought a lot of much-needed structure to an otherwise very loose process. This experience ignited a passion for coding, and in January of 2023 I signed up for UCF's full-stack flex web development boot camp. In the follow 6 months, I worked over a full-time job with a major company while also completing a course rated at 35+ hours per week. It was challenging, but I learned all the skills necessary to develop full websites, and still have some live websites up to demonstrate my work. I ended the course with a 94%.I'm looking to continue this story of personal development and expand my skillset even further somewhere where I'm continuously challenged. I thrive in fast-paced work environments and have a passion for continuous improvement in particular, which is a skillset that can be applied anywhere to great benefit. Thank you.
