Used metagenomics, PCR, genome mapping, gel electrophoresis, cell culture, protein expression, SDS-page, e.coli and insect cell expression systems and imaging methods to assemble in-vitro VLPs of cruciviruses for experiments to understand its replication and recombination process.

My research focus has primarily been on isolating the genome of crucivirus, specifically the capsid protein of a crucivirus genome found referred to as Node34, to observe it's protein folding ability and what genetic mutations may deactivate it's structure.
