I am A five year US Army veteran. My time as an infantryman in the US Army the main focus of my job was my team. It Started as learning how to be a member of that team learning the ins and outs of my role. Then as I progressed while continuing to learn I also passed on my knowledge and experiences to my subordinates. The ability to build and maintain a team’s cohesion was a absolute must have in my leadership role. As I transitioned back into the civilian work space it has continued to be a great quality to have. The ability to adapt and overcome obstacles has also been a great skill I gained over those years.
