Hello! My name is Hunter, and I am a graduate of University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and University of Chicago Master of Arts Program in the Social Sciences (MAPSS). Throughout my academic and professional journey, I have developed a passion for analytical thinking and team management and hope to blend these disciplines in the early stages of my career.After graduating with Bachelor of Arts degrees in Economics and History at UNC, much of my work at UChicago has been centered around policy analysis. I enrolled in graduate level coursework at the Harris School of Public Policy and Booth School of Business, where I have worked with faculty members on research projects focused on regression models and quantitative methods centered around various social phenomena, including financial systems, education, and development. In addition to my educational background, I am also a passionate storyteller and communicator. During my time at UNC, I was the sports editor of The Daily Tar Heel, where I led a talented team of 50 writers to produce quality coverage that could be enjoyed by the campus community and beyond. I have also had the opportunity to publish two theses, which both center around the economic and social effects of athletic teams/facilities in urban spaces.Now that my graduate studies are complete, I am eager to begin the next phase of my professional career and am actively searching for opportunities to blend my quantitative and personal skills.
