As an intern for the marketing team, I have taken part in participating in various sports including football, basketball, baseball etc. In this role, I participate in game day duties relating to fan interactions and engagement through in game promotions. With this, I would take part in recruiting small numbers of volunteers for game sponsorship activities and contest participation. I would also follow a strict schedule and timing sheet for each game, contributing to my time management skills and helping me become even more detail oriented. This past semester, I was selected as the lead intern for all gymnastics meets. In this role, I took part in the process of creating timing sheets and the scheduling for game presentation for various meets. On meet day, I would take part in executing all game promotion events and specific sponsorship activities. Through this specific opportunity, I have gained further leadership experience and brought further value to my marketing, time management, and communication skills. I am extremely blessed and grateful to have this opportunity to learn more about the sports business every day.
