I became the proud owner of a successful cannabis company after building a strong foundation in law. My legal journey began in 2015 at St. Mary’s University School of Law, where I also participated in the International Business Transactions program in Innsbruck, Austria in 2016 and 2017. After earning my Juris Doctorate in 2018, obtaining my Mediator's Certification, and passing the Texas Bar Exam, I became a licensed attorney.When the Farm Bill was passed that same year, I was inspired to enter the hemp industry. Initially, TCF Marketing was intended to be a CBD retail company, but my passion quickly shifted towards wholesale and distribution. This led to the co-founding of Pioneer Farms, a 10-acre hemp cultivation operation in Spring Branch, Texas. Through strategic leadership and a deep understanding of market dynamics, I successfully grew TCF Marketing, Pioneer Farms, and several other small businesses into thriving enterprises.Though I no longer practice law, my legal background provides a unique advantage in navigating the complexities of cannabis legislation, ensuring TCF Marketing remains fully compliant with evolving regulations. I also offer consulting services and regulatory advice to cannabis companies, helping them stay compliant with local, state, and federal laws.
