Providing stability and process improvements in each role I held lead me to reconciling high volume vendors such as LKQ, Sopus, Napa, Crest Industries, Cintas, and National Coatings & Supplies which were consolidated accounts across every Asbury market. Cleaning up severely aged accounts and bringing our largest accounts in good standing allowed me to take on additional responsibilities such as purchase card support and facility maintenance posting. My skills in Excel greatly increased within this role as I became responsible for adjusted ledger reports for each of national accounts. Journal Entry, audit document preparation, and facilitating support in dealership acquisitions and divestments also became part of my monthly routine.

Asbury's ongoing consolidation and revision of processes led to openings in full cycle payables. Managing vendor and dealership accounts daily was crucial to our dealerships having full lines of credit, inventory reporting being accurate, and great relationships being secured between our vendors and dealership departments. I expanded my skills in communication, time management, and workflow knowledge within this role. Reconciling vendor accounts across Asbury's largest markets provided me with increased acumen in dealership department specifics such as inventories, balancing ledgers, and organization operational management.

During my time in this role I maintained vendor setup documentation in compliance with company policy and federal regulations. Additional responsibilities within this role included handling vendor 1099s and providing administration support for dealership department WEX fuel and purchase card holders as a Commercial Card Specialist. I developed professional relationships with department managers across Asbury's various markets and executive team members while gaining insight and experience in expense reporting. These relationships were key to my success in my future role in full cycle payables as an Accounts Payable Specialist.
