If you had told me when I was a little kid that I would be an Intelligence Analyst for the United States Army National Guard, I would have laughed. I would have laughed because I did not consider myself intelligence material. This brings me to the main reason why I joined the Army. The Army showed me an opportunity that I would have never have dreamed of in my life. This journey of being an Intelligence Analyst has lead to numerous accomplishments and experiences in my Army career. One of my accomplishments in my Army career is graduating from Fort McCoy's Basic Leader's Course to become a Non-Commissioned Officer (NCO). Another accomplishment, being employed by my unit to be apart of their Active Duty Operational Support (ADOS) when my unit was preparing for a deployment to Afghanistan. My final noteworthy accomplishment in my Army career would be deploying to Afghanistan and returning from this seven-month deployment as a Sergeant. After returning from this deployment, I am now finishing my Bachelor of Business Administration majoring in Management Information Systems I started back in 2014, all thanks to the Army. The Army has done a lot for me and my life. I want to push myself to see how far I can go, and give my thanks for all the Army has done for me.
