During my time at Frye Regional Medical Center as a CNA in the Float Pool, I worked on different units such as the Emergency Department, Neurology/Oncology, Neurology Progressive, Medical/Surgical, Rehabilitation, Telemetry, Intermediate Care Unit, and the Critical Care Unit. On these different units I performed the following duties:-Patient Rounding-Vital Signs-12-lead EKGs-Foley/catheter care-Perineal Care-ADLs-bathing, feeding, dressing, oralcare, etc.-assist to ambulate-Skin Care-Non-sterile Dressings-Documentation-Recording intake and output-Recording Weights

During my time with Pinnacle, I worked with a young non-verbal man with intellectual and developmentaldisabilities. Each shift I made sure he was monitored and comfortable by performing and assisting with the following duties:-Patient monitoring-meeting the patient's specific daily goals set by his parents and Pinnacle-Perineal care-Personal hygiene: bathing, dressing, oral care, and nail care-Range of motion of extremities-Exercising-Documentation-Feeding-Skin care-Assist to ambulate-Patient advocacy

During my time working here, I worked with many different residents in different units such as rehabilitation, dementia/memory care, and general long-term care. I was exposed to long-term care for my first time and had many different responsibilities such as:-Monitoring vital signs-Catheter care-Perineal care-Personal care: bathing, oral care, nail care, and dressing-Range of motion of extremities-Skin care: making sure residents did not develop bed sores-Assist to ambulate-Feeding-Recording intake and output-Recording weights-Bed positioning-Advocacy
