Promoted to online sales coordinator as well as a multi key holder. I serve as a stand-in manager for 4 out of 7 stores while maintaining past responsibilities.

Everyday work consists of handling clients, sales, social media uploads and website redesign for an established Atlanta luxury consignment boutique.I create original sales post and graphics for the website + social media via Canva, co-manage online orders between 7 stores, update the website ticker, images and text as needed, produce SEO friendly product titles using company word preferences, design + send weekly newsletters for employees, interact with clients, potential clients + influencers via social media, phone, in-person and email and sell luxury fashion pieces daily. We utilize several platforms including Shopify, Constant Contact, Trello, Planable, SOCi + Liberty.

I wrote at least two stories daily while also working on stories, graphics, new business developments, restaurant features and photos for a monthly print edition. I conducted at least two interviews a day and worked with a variety of people and businesses.

I joined the Marietta Daily Journal as a remote copy editor in May 2021. While I worked with daily deadlines, strict style guides and classic storytelling, I also had full creative control with page design and a plethora of people and publications to network with. I continued working at Alexis Suitcase part time until December 2021.

Some of the biggest highlights from this role include helping the business reach sales goals, delivering excellent customer service, serving as sales specialist in store and online contributing and creating original social content.Sequentially, I worked at Alexis Suitcase Buckhead as a sales associate and social media specialist. It was here that I rediscovered myself. I learned to reconnect with people. I also learned how good it feels to help someone grow their business/brand awareness. I co-managed their social media and was a public face for the brand. I was also a top seller out of six full-time and five part-time employees.

I wrote three stories a day; whether it be from a BOE meeting, interview with the mayor or a new business opening. I was also responsible for curating, editing and distributing photos and real-time footage via social media platforms. Though most of my work was done through articles, I do try to adapt and reimagine the stories to be told in a variety of forms. I was laid of as a result of COVID-19.

Was able to see the living, breathing connection between business and consumers. Learned to adapt and relate all materials to make them seem intentional and personable to customers without losing sight of the business perspective. Designed graphics from scratch and promoted then using Hootesuite.

Enrolled in the journalism program, students are required to write for the university publication of their choice. Before being offered a higher position on the staff and even during, I wrote, edited and took photos for the independently ran student newspaper. I covered topics such as campus life, sports, opinions and news.

Responsible for conducting interviews, writing original material, contacting clients, occasional accompanying photo ops, all while working with daily deadlines. Consistently used verbal and written correspondence with important members of the community. Short term, but gained ample knowledge about the journalism world.Contributed to online and print work over 30 times.
