I co-founded S1 Technology, a managed IT service provider that has competitors scratching their heads wondering what we're doing to make our customers so happy.In school I was a good student, but always had trouble with authority; anytime I was told to do something instead of asked or suggested I would procrastinate or simply not do it. Idk why, but I can't stand being told what to do - working through that one. I've also always gravitated towards computers. I can remember the feeling of guilt when my dad walked in on me with our family computer in a hundred pieces at 5 years old. He made me put it together until it worked again.. Business has also always interested me, the ability to start something that solves a problem well enough to get paid for it is such a neat concept. And the fact that we’ve been able to convince dozens of businesses into paying us to play with their technology is still baffling to me. S1 Technology is not the only project I've ever done though, I've failed PLENTY of times. I started an e-commerce business (failed - couldn’t get good ROAS), a pressure washing company (failed - got bored), a poke restaurant (failed - *gave up*), a food marketing business (failed - couldn't get customers), a DTC sauce subscription company (failed - margins too small), and finally an IT company (going quite well 🥳). Regarding IT support, our response and resolution time is faster than any IT company you’ll find. We'll even support your applications - regardless of what you’re using. What we're doing is super simple; not easy, simple. There's a difference. It's simple because we really focus on one thing above all else - customer experience. Turns out that you can do that quite well if you try hard enough, and that’s what we do. We are collectively the most tryhard group you've ever seen. We don't have customers, we have Raving Fans and I'd love to tell you more about that because my wife won't let me talk about it to her anymore.
