Hello!I graduated from Colorado State University in the spring of 2016 with a BA in English Literature and a minor in Media Studies. I worked my way through college as a restaurant manager, transforming me into a hard working, determined, and motivated individual capable of picking up and completing any task set before me. My interest and skills in computers and information technology, and enthusiasm to always learn more, lead me to begin working as an entry level support technician for Linux and Windows systems for Hewlett Packard's Cloud Solutions Organization the same day I received my degree. In only one year I have become the supervisor of the Network Operations Center, and now manage a 24x7 365 group of technicians that monitor systems for some of HPI's biggest partners. My strong leadership and interpersonal skills have allowed me to shape my team into meeting a 5 minute SLA, with 99% efficiency. I attended a private high-school in the city of Denver, which has allowed me to amass a large list of successful, young contacts, in a vast variety of fields. I also taught tennis lessons, and lettered in tennis for my school, and completed 70 hours of community service for Habitat for Humanity through building houses for low-income families. I enjoy spending my free time reading non-fiction, studying network operations and programming, building my own computers, investing, and exercising. I am also an avid musician. I play a variety of instruments, including guitar, bass, drums, and piano, and also have taught lessons. My experience in successfully managing teams, my determination, my motivation, and my ability to self educate, has allowed me to develop the skills to be a good problem solver, a critical thinker, a fast learner, an effective communicator, and a strong leader.
