My duties at WXYZ/WYMD start by clocking in at 4am most days to help get everything set up for the 4:30am show. My primary responsibilities include operating the teleprompter and printing off scripts for talent should something happen to the prompters. Outside of that, I do my best to help attend to guests and to assist staging in any way I can.

My responsibilities for this job predominately have me attending local events happening around the township and putting together the best possible video highlighting what makes it special for our community. I do this by gathering as much useful footage as possible and conducting interviews with people that are involved. Afterwards, I return to the studio and put together the best possible via Adobe Premiere Pro. I am also the talent for a public access show titled Michigan Moment, telling the viewers about fun facts about the Mitten State. In the past, I have also covered local government meetings using a camcorder all the way to multiple remote PTZ cameras.

My role in this position consisted of me finding and attending events that were held in the Multicultural Academic Student Services office and help promote diversity on campus. By attending these events and conducting interviews with those involved, I compiled all of the clips into a montage for both, the YouTube channel as well as other social media platforms such as Facebook, Instagram and Twitter.
