Specialization of study involves Southern California bunchgrasses, simulating and executing experiments in real and created drought conditions, invasive species removal and management, land stewardship regarding people-centric disturbances, and in community education about issues surrounding Southern Californian wild spaces.Experience in independent study and individually-driven research. With scientific support from Dr. Sarah Kimball, I designed, acquired resources and appropriate authorizations for, and ultimately executed my own project at UC Irvine's UROP symposium where I had the opportunity to present my personally designed experiment and data-driven conclusions.

Responsible for being administrative liaison between the School of Biological Sciences, students, faculty, and community affiliates. Mentorship and leadership supporting tutors and overseeing free tutoring efforts over courses supporting upwards of 1200 students per quarter.Will work to ensure the creation of a program more conducive to mentorship alongside education for our students.
