Dr Hunter Wang is a highly trained Gastroenterologist and Interventional Endoscopist at Sydney Adventist Hospital with expertise and conjoint accreditation in gastroscopy, colonoscopy, and endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography (ERCP).He is interested in all aspects of gastroenterology with additional interest in management of bowel cancer, stomach cancer, Barrett’s oesophagus, complex polyps, pancreaticobiliary diseases, bleeding disorders, functional gut disorders, and reflux disease.Dr Wang graduated from the University of Sydney and trained at leading hospitals in Sydney and Canberra. He then completed a fellowship in advanced endoscopy at the internationally renowned Westmead Hospital where he mastered complex tissue resection and broad spectrum of endoluminal therapies.Dr Wang is a member of the Gastroenterological Society of Australia and the American Society for Gastrointestinal Endoscopy. He has published in peer review journals and presented at both national and international conferences, whilst actively teaching Australian National University students at Sydney Adventist Hospital.Dr Wang is passionate about improving patient outcomes and dedicated in delivering evidence-based care with a holistic approach. He recently conmpleted a higher degree in research on innovative endoscopic techniques with the University of Sydney.
