My name is Hunter Watts, a Research Engineer and Lead Additive Manufacturing Engineer at Mississippi State University's Advanced Composites Institute (ACI). One of my largest accomplishments is standing up the Mississippi State University Polymer Additive Manufacturing Lab, the largest polymer AM lab in the state. Over the years, I have grown the AM lab by marrying my new business development and engineering skillset to bring in industry contracts, material research, and OEM partnerships. Some of the equipment that makes The Mississippi State University Polymer Additive Manufacturing Lab so unique is a custom-designed large-format thermoset extrusion printer that I redesigned from the ground up and operate.Some of my prior experience and skillsets include managing a team of employees, competitive sales experience, and extensive CNC experience.
