Throughout my life I have been very interested in mechanics, technology, and design. As I work to become a professional engineer, I continue to gain knowledge that I can put to use in a successful career. I am a graduate of Southern Illinois University and hold experience as an equipment engineer in the fast-paced mining and construction industry. I am innovative person and possess strong technical skills for problem solving. I have put forth my dedication to the heavy equipment industry while working at three different mining operations in Texas and Wyoming. As an equipment engineer, I have been responsible for managing various fleets of mining equipment, but also taken on special projects, equipment proposals/justifications, and annual business plans (budgets). I held leadership roles in the maintenance department as well.
