Over the past few years, my work has centered around the following:Automation and Optimization: Utilized various automation tools including Pipedrive, Klenty, and Python to streamline our client outreach processes, significantly boosting our deal flow efficiency.Software Development: Designed, developed, and maintained several internal tools and software products to facilitate deal sourcing, due diligence, and portfolio management. Also, adopted an agile development approach, resulting in shorter development cycles and more frequent software updates.Data Management: Developed data pipelines to extract, transform, and load large volumes of structured and unstructured data. Implemented robust data management practices, including data cleaning, validation, and encryption to ensure data integrity and security.Collaboration and Teamwork: Worked closely with the firm's partners and associates to understand business requirements and translate them into software solutions. This interaction allowed for seamless alignment between the technology and business teams, leading to software products that accurately met the firm's needs.Innovation: Leveraged emerging technologies to introduce innovative solutions that enhanced the firm's competitive advantage and contributed to its digital transformation journey.

I have worked for 4 years for the NYS Department of Environmental Conservation. My work here was for the division of Air Resources and more specifically, the Bureau of Mobile Sources. Some major projects that I have been a part of include:Volkswagen Settlement Mitigation Fund Allocation, where we advocated for proportional funding towards categories with more cost-effective emissions reduction with an additional focus upon disproportionately affected communities and environmental justice areas. The Remote Sensing Program (RSD), in which we test the emissions of ~100k vehicles per year. This allows us to make observations of trends in emissions data from passenger vehicles, which we have used for guidance with policy implementation. The Albany South End Community Air Quality Initiative (https://www.dec.ny.gov/chemical/108978.html). In our local impoverished communities, we manually collected data and reported findings on whether these communities were disproportionately exposed to particulate matter in their Air. We were able to map this data through GIS in order to observe trends through location and time. As I was collecting data I was able to accompany community members and explain the work and its implications, with younger members of the community, I also felt that it was a good way to advertise STEM careers as more accessible.Finally, one of my responsibilities was to ensure compliance with NYS regulations regarding the emissions testing of our heavy-duty diesel vehicles. In order to do so, I would tour the NYS metropolitan area in order to determine if an aboveboard operation was taking place at inspection facilities. This gave me significant experience with computer hardware as a part of the responsibility is to determine tampering which involves dissecting computer hardware and investigating software.
