September 17th, 2015.A day I'll never forget. A father to a precious newborn girl. A husband to a beautiful bride.A friend and former partner of mine at the Fire Department. Jordan was hit head on while on his way to work and killed on impact. For years now I've past the cross that marks his passing every morning I drive to work. It's a simple but powerful reminder. Make It Count. Because not everyone gets the opportunity. Later that year... December 22nd, 2015 I stepped away from the Fire Department to pursue running a business full time. I questioned if I'd find the same fulfillment as I found while at the Fire Department serving the community. It didn't take long before I found that fulfillment. It came through building teams & giving back to the communities we served. Since going full time we've grown multiple businesses, surpassed 8 figures in annual revenue, built a team of over 100, given over 6 figures to the community, been featured in countless publications such as TODAY, Entrepreneur.com, Forbes, Business Insider & more. The big, flashy numbers are cool and all but let me tell you what's most fulfilling... Seeing the lives of our team change. Seeing them establish their why. Building a company that provides events & training on business strategy, leadership & legacy and growing our group to over 13k members with over 1000 people showing up to our live events.I get to do all of this while providing the life my wife & I have dreamed of. We have a little boy, Turner, that's such a blessing with his big personality. Now, it's become my job to teach him the importance of being a legacy-focused leader. As we continue to grow our service business, events & app we hope we're able to impact millions around the globe. I know there are millions of faces I'll never see who need me to show up every day. Even when I don't feel like it. My reminder when I'm off my game is to always..Make It Count.
