In this role, I worked in the new resource planning group. My main responsibility was to gather the necessary requirements from the business side in order to create dashboards Microsoft Power BI. These reports and dashboards I am created helped to convert manual, static processes into automated, up to date information.

In this role I was responsible for gathering requirements to move change requests for an ERP system from a manual, excel based process, to a more automated system. The new process I designed was aimed to have more levels of review and approval so by the time a change request made it to IT to be implemented, it was more thought out and detailed. This new process made it easier for the requestor to see at what point in the process their request was at, and allowed for easier prioritization by those deciding what change requests were most important. This project allowed me to see what it is like to be a business analyst by being the bridge between the business and IT side while having to gather and meet requirements from both perspectives.

As an operations intern at Orthopediatrics, I had the responsibility of ensuring incoming surgical instruments and implants met the companies quality standards. Excel analysis played a large part in this role when I helped with daily cycle counts to make sure the physical inventory in the warehouse matched what was shown in the system to meet a 98% accuracy level. It was very fulfilling to work at such an innovative company that changed children's lives on a daily basis.

My two summers at Rozelle are when I learned the true meaning of hard work. Spending 40+ hours a week in the summer sun doing labor intensive tasks helped me develop a persevering attitude that I will lean on throughout my career. I was also given the opportunity to manage and train two new employees throughout the summer which taught me how to be an understanding and constructive leader.
