Lieutenant Colonel (Retired) Floyd served as a member of the U.S. Army in the Reserve and Active components for 28 years in roles of increasing scope and responsibility. His career had a breadth of experience as an Intelligence Officer. His combat experience included a deployment to Iraq where he was the lead Military Advisor to the newly formed Infantry Battalion where he conducted the first independent Iraqi unit combat operations in both Sadder City and Fallujah. He was also a deputy commander of an over 2,000+ member intelligence brigade in the Pacific theater. A strong advocate for both the Active and Reserve components, he has also focused on the successful integration of both. As a US Army War College graduate, he now focuses on strategic leadership and planning for organizations.
