Field Service Technician
CurrentSubcontractor working directly with General Electric HealthCare (GEHC) Field Engineers (FE) and Project Managers (PM) and functioning as an arm of GEHC installation team on retrofit and new equipment installations along the West Coast, Colorado, Nevada, Arizona, New Mexico, and Kansas. • Led NSI installation team in evaluating customer requirements for net new installations and retrofits or upgrades • Ensured new and retrofit installations complied with all local health and safety laws, regulations, and best practice standards• Interfaced directly with installation stakeholders including GEHC FE and PM, customer, general contractor, and Office of Statewide Health Planning and Development (OSHPD) to ensure each installation met or exceeded expectations• Completed required ‘GO LIVE’ testing, including onsite troubleshooting, replacement of inoperable equipment, and adjustments as needed to meet the customer and GEHC’s exacting standards• Provided daily communications to NSI leadership team and GEHC FE/PM including inventory, billable hours, and identifying unresolved issues preventing project completion• Collaborated with and assisted GEHC FE/PM to identify issues and drive resolutions to ensure on-time delivery of the site requirements • Maintained technical knowledge of installation standards, technical best practices, building and fire codes, as well as procedures to facilitate the effective use of the installed equipment; ensured NSI tools and test equipment are on-site and properly maintained
