Hunter is currently the Regional President of the South Central Region at First Horizon Bank. In this role, he is responsible for the bank’s strategy and growth in key markets in Georgia and Alabama.A results-driven executive for 20 years, Hunter joined legacy IBERIABANK, now First Horizon, in 2009 to grow the bank’s commercial client base in Birmingham, Alabama. In 2014, Hunter was promoted to New Orleans Market President. In this role, he led a wide variety of client segments including Commercial, Business, and Retail Banking as well as Private Client and Wealth Management for one of the Company’s top markets. Next, Hunter was tapped to become First Horizon’s Chief Digital Transformation Officer responsible for creating and driving enterprise digital vision, strategy and thought leadership across all lines of business and lead the Treasury Management Services Team. Hunter currently serves on the bank’s Operating Committee and has had experience serving on the bank’s Asset and Liability Committee, the Technology Advisory Board, and Loan and Deposit Pricing Committee. As an active leader in the community throughout his professional career, Hunter has served on numerous local boards in Birmingham, New Orleans and Memphis most recently including TheNational WWII Museum Board of Trustees, the Chickasaw Council Boy Scouts of America Board and has been the past Chairman of the Young Presidents Organization Louisiana Chapter and Annual Campaign Chairman for the United Way of Southeast Louisiana. Hunter graduated from Auburn University with a Master of Business Administration with a concentration in Finance and a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting. In 2015, Hunter completed an Executive Education Program at Harvard University. Hunter and his wife, Kaylea, have been married for 19 years and have three children.
