Process Engineers at DPS Group are consultants responsible for providing design and construction engineering services to pharmaceutical and biopharmaceutical clients. This includes creation of engineering documents such as hazard analyses, P&IDs, PFDs, basis of design reports and equipment specifications. During design work, models are utilized to verify flow calculations and system sizing. Notable Projects:• Acted as Project Engineer and Lead Process Engineer on numerous Sarepta Therapeutics projects. Project Engineer responsibilities involved coordinating numerous disciplines to ensure on-time delivery of project packages. As a Lead Process Engineer, responsibilities involved facility design, process design, and guiding client expectations. Most recent projects include a 75,000 sq. ft. vivarium research facility design and 15,000 sq. ft. lab update.• Designated as the on-site Lead Process Engineer for Eli Lilly’s Capacity Expansion Project in Branchburg, New Jersey. Responsibilities included producing maintenance programs from failure mode analysis reports and managing the project schedule and budget. • Provided support for a feasibility study for Waters Corporation. Worked through client process flow diagrams to determine potential reactions that would occur within their processes. Utilized stream composition and temperature information to analyze potential interactions with construction equipment materials.• Served as a Process Engineer on AbbVie’s 6K Expansion Project, converting four 2,000-liter bioreactors to 6,000-liter bioreactors. Analyzed pipe flow through CIP lines and 14 transfer panels to ensure all components within the system would be cleaned.• While serving as a Project Engineer, spearheaded a project to eliminate bottleneck issues within Document Control to expedite the document transmittal process. Overall, this has saved an average of 2 hours on each transmittal.
