About Hunter Glenn

Responsible, dedicated, and ambitious undergraduate student looking to receive his master's degree in art within five years, seeking an opportunity to utilize art and design skills for a position or project with your company. Meticulous attention to detail, proven loyalty, robust work ethic, on-time, self-motivator with solid time management skills. To provide you with some context about me, in high school, I truly felt lost. Not knowing which path to choose, I decided to reignite my lifelong adoration for art and take an introductory course on the subject. I would go on to be appointed club treasurer for my school's Art Honors Society and take two college-level AP art courses. I would score a 5/5 on both portfolios. Due to my devotion to my craft, my school would issue me the coveted Southwest Award for Excellence in Fine Arts two years in a row and would go on to nominate me for the 2019 Miami Herald Silver Knight Award in the fine arts category. Currently, I am a dedicated Studio Art undergraduate student attending his dream college, the University of Miami (UM), who has actively sustained a solid 3.9 GPA. My art, sculpture, and photography portfolios concentrate primarily on making a statement. My pieces take on a spectrum of causes that are near to my heart. Taking on causes such as pieces that serve as commentary on the current and immediate threat of global warming to our ecosystems to poverty in third world countries. My portfolio and written compositions have been published in two fine art magazines (published in print and online) and have been featured in online articles publicized by Miami Dade College and UM.I am currently employed at the Pérez Art Museum Miami as a Visitor Services Assistant. Outside of work, I have a deep passion for the arts and culture and for giving back to the community. I have been a proud, engaged member of my local community, serving since 2013. I have accumulated over 420+ community service hours, accomplishing activities ranging from painting a schoolwide acrylic mural to donating articles of clothing and crafting care packages to aid unhoused individuals. All community hours were served through various non-profit organizations. Besides serving my local community, I am also an enthusiastic member of a couple of university clubs/organizations. I act as a member of the Photography club, a member of the Tau Sigma Transfer Honor Society, and a member of oSTEM.I enjoy meeting new people and hearing new perspectives on things. If you are interested in connecting or collaborating, please feel free to message me!
