My life's passion and goals have always centered on mental health. In high school I was the first adolescent to receive the Lincoln Award from the local Republican party chapter for outstanding service to the community as I helped bring and start the HOPE Squad in our school. This program on student ran suicide prevention and awareness was the first step in my journey. As I went to college for a Bachelors in Family Science I found a job at New Haven Residential Treatment Center. There I was able to apply what I had been learning, and carry out therapeutic interventions with families and students there. As a Shift Supervisor I have been able to be apart of the Treatment team and assist in crafting those responses. This has allowed me to develop manager skills as I am responsible for my shift and my employee's trainings. My current position as Assistant Residential Director was created for me to bring my skills and talents to the entire company.
