As a Senior Analyst, I was responsible for managing a team of analysts who aim to maintain and improve our models. Our teams focus is on converting the complexity of accounting and finance into economic models that give the most accurate picture of the fundamentals baked into stock prices. These models feed into our equity ratings that give clients a risk/reward assessment on each of the 3,000 publicly traded companies that we cover. We stay ahead of the competition by following changes to GAAP and IFRS accounting that might cause accounting results to inaccurately reflect the economic value of the business. Major Project:I led a team of analysts in the creation of New Constructs credit rating system. Our Credit Rating systems rivals that of existing providers (Moodys, S&P, etc) except ours is based on better data, is completely unbiased, and can be applied at scale.
