Security Integration for UnitedHealth Group’s OptumCare ⦀ Modernized the security posture and capabilities of Surgical Care Affiliates (SCA) to achieve pre-integration targets set forth by Optum. Led a team of cybersecurity and change management professionals to design, test, and deploy PHI data monitoring software to all employees of Surgical Care Affiliates (SCA). Built and executed a multichannel corporate communications plan that reached >9,000 end users, informing them of upcoming changes to security policy and implications for daily operations. Collected, analyzed, and maintained financial forecasts and initiated weekly billing process. Strategic Security Posture Assessment for UnityPoint Health ⦀ Planned and hosted a simulation PHI data breach for a major network of hospitals and clinics; 34 leadership stakeholders participated in the cyber threat-monitoring exercise which charted the organization’s end-to-end incident response pipeline.
