As a PhD student at CU Boulder, my research focuses on Human-Autonomy teaming with applications towards Space Force satellite operators and first responders applying unmanned aircraft in public safety incidents. I seek to understand how human-centered autonomy frameworks can leverage operator expertise to augment their capabilities. My research is driven by insights gained while serving my community as a rescuer with the Boulder Emergency Squad and managing their Uncrewed Aerial Systems program.With a rigorous background in systems engineering, I'm well suited to explore this growing field that sits at the intersection of aerospace, human-robot interaction, computer science, and human factors. I consistently leverage my experience in building small satellites, designing multi-billion dollar spacecraft systems, and leading large teams in understanding how autonomy can help the people who need it most.
